My background started in electrical engineering, with specializations in energy systems and electromagnetics. More recently, I've become interested in more general systems theory, representations, modeling, and optimization. I joined the Systems Engineering Department at Colorado State University in 2017 and hold a joint appointment in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. I've served in various technical management positions in industry and a DOE national laboratory, at the executive and research group levels.
